Kathy Jennings, 57, of Asheville, NC, passed on with a peaceful heart in her home on July 16, 2016, surrounded by her beloved husband, family and friends.
Born on May 29, 1959 in Bridgeport, CT and raised in Milford, Kathy graduated from Jonathan Law High School, attended UMass, and traveled abroad at a young age to pursue her passion in dance.
She was a determined spirit in finding new ways of being and working in the world. Those ways included a Pilates instructor, a Trager Practitioner, a Continuum Movement Facilitator, and an Interfaith Minister.
She was passionate about helping people find joy and new ways of being in their bodies and in relationship with one another, especially when marrying them!
She loved nature, she loved her friends, she loved her family and they all loved her!
They include her husband, Mark Hoch and daughter Ariana of Asheville, NC; her mom, Blanche Cantafio and her husband, Armand of Orange; her dad, Arthur Jennings and his wife, Ellie of West Haven; her brother, Arthur Jennings and his wife, Sara of West Barnett, VT; her two sisters, Wendy Dulin and her husband Gary of Orange and Sherri Buckley of Shelton; her mother-in-law Janet Hoch of Asheville, NC; brother-in-law Dov Hoch of Israel and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles!
Services and burial were held in Asheville and a private service celebrating Kathy’s remarkable journey was held in Connecticut.
