Michael Joseph Clemens, 68, of Orange, husband of Pamela Clemens, passed away on August 19, 2024. Born on February 14, 1956, he was the son of the late William and Irene Clemens.
Mike was a graduate of Amity High School. He owned and operated Mike’s Auto in Orange for more than 45 years alongside his son. He was a 30+ year member of the Orange Volunteer Fire Association where he served on multiple committees, was a trustee, and built many great friendships. Mike was also a devoted member of Race Brook Country Club in Orange for more than 40 years, where he served on various committees. He loved his game of golf and made many lifelong friends while there.
Along with his wife, Pamela, Michael is survived by his children, Will (Leigh) and Amy Clemens; his beloved grandchildren, Chloe and William; his brother, Dr. David (Monika) Clemens; his mother-in-law, Jean Mitchell; his sister-in-law, Kim Mitchell; his nieces and nephews, Kenneth (Jackie) Mitchell III and Kara Mitchell (Jeff Smith); and his faithful companion, Marley. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell Sr., and brother-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Road, Orange. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department, Camp Rising Sun in honor of his granddaughter, Chloe, or to Smilow Cancer Hospital.
