Monroe Somer, 100, of Swampscott, MA, formerly of Orange, CT and Delray Beach, FL. entered into rest February 26.Beloved husband of the late Helen (Lebau) Somer. Devoted father of Margaret Somer of Swampscott and the late Susan Somer Parmalee of Middletown, CT. Loving brother-in-law of Ruth Lebau Brewster of Hillside, NJ, and the late Gerald Lebau of Boca Raton, FL. Cherished grandfather of Rachel DellaCroce and her husband Dana DellaCroce and Rebecca Small and her husband Steve Aldeus. Adored Great grandfather of Jacob and Nicholas Della Croce.
A Memorial Service will be held at Congregation Shirat Hayam, 55 Atlantic Avenue, Swampscott on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11 AM.
Memorial observance following the service on Tuesday until 8 PM and on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the home of Margaret Somer.
Minyan services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7 PM.
